शिक्षक दिन

आज ५ सप्टेंबर, Dr. सर्वपल्ली राधाकृष्णन यांचा वाढदिवस जो आपण शिक्षक दिन म्हणून साजरा करतो. जर तुम्ही Dr. अब्दुल कलाम यांचे भाषण ऐकले असेल तर त्यांचा मुद्दा खरच महत्वाचा आहे, विद्यार्थी साधारणपणे त्याच्या आयुष्यातील २५००० तास शाळेत घालवतो, आणि म्हणून विद्यार्थ्याच्या जीवनावर शिक्षकाचा खूप जास्त पगडा असतो किंबहुना शिक्षकच त्याच्या जीवनाला कलाटणी देत असतो. भारतीय संस्कृतीत तर गुरूला अनन्यसाधारण महत्व आहे.

मी ही या दिनाचे निमित्त साधून माझ्या सर्व शिक्षकांना चरणी वन्दून अभिवादन करतो.

गोष्ट छोटी डोंगराएवढी ........

       

      

      शुक्रवार म्हणजे रात्रीची वेळ आपलीच कारण शनिवार सुट्टी.. मी ठरवल की आज मराठी चित्रपट बघायचा. "गोष्ट छोटी डोंगराएवढी" बरच ऐकले होते या चित्रपटाबद्दल, शेवटी बघायचा ठरवल. 

     चित्रपट तसा सुरू झला तेव्हा मला वाटले अजुन एक मकरंद चा कॉमेडीपट ..परंतु जशी जशी कहाणी पुढे जाउ लागली तसा चित्रपटाचा आशय कळू लागला. खरच समाजातील एका महत्वाच्या मुद्द्याला दिग्दर्शकाने हात घातला आहे. वर्तमानपत्रांसाठी आणि न्यूज़ चॅनेल्स साठी कदाचित "शेतकर्यांच्या आत्महत्या" ही एक पहिल्या पानावरची बातमी किवा ब्रेकिंग न्यूज़ असेल परंतु त्यांच्या कुटुंबांची झालेली अवहेलना आणि त्रास कदाचित कोणीच समजून घेतला नाही. भारतासारख्या शेती प्रधान देशात असे काही व्हावे हे नवलच. भारताला महासत्ता करू इच्छिनार्‍या राजकारण्याना कोन समजावणार की "अन्न पाणी आणि निवारा" यामधील अन्नाची गरज जोपर्यंत शेतकरी भगवताहेत तोपर्यंतच हे स्वप्ना शक्य आहे आणि त्यामुळे ही आपली व समाजाची नैतिक जबाबदारी आहे की आपण शेतकर्यांच्या प्रश्नाला मुळापासून सोडवण्यासाठी प्रयत्न केले पाहिजे. कदाचित मी हे बोलून छोट्या तोंडी मोठा घास घेण्याचा प्रयत्न करत असेन, परंतु मला विश्वास आहे की देशातील सर्व स्तरातील लोक जेव्हा ह्या समस्येला आपली समस्या समजून सोडवण्याचा प्रयत्न करतील, आपले शेतकरी बांधव नक्कीच ह्या विवंचनेतून मुक्त होतील.

    चित्रपटाचा शेवट मला थोडा काल्पनिक वाटला, आणि एखाद्या नेत्याला वेठीस धरून सोडवण्यासारखी ही समस्या तेवढी सोपी नाही. यासाठी शासकीय तसेच सामाजिक पातळीवरून आर्थिक तसेच सामाजिक शिक्षणाची मदत गेली पाहिजे. शेतकरी बांधवांना मूळ प्रवाहापासून वेगळे ना होऊ देता त्यांनाही आपण सोबत नेले पाहिजे. शेतकर्यांच्या प्रगतीतूनच आपण भारताच्या प्रगतीचे स्वप्न पाहु शकतो.

Visit to Zoological Park - Katraj

Today Morning Pavan called me and asked if we can visit to Katraj Zoological Park, and I agreed immediately. We reached there around 1.00 PM. We purchased entry tickets Rs. 10/- per head. To mention the tickets for foreigners were Rs. 25/- per head. The park is truly amazing, and I am wondering how we have not yet visited it as we are residing only 2Km from it. The Park is well maintained and documented. At each corner there are guide plates available which gives enough information about the different animals. There is nice lake there, and we done boating for a while. The park is equipped with all basic facilities and canteen. The park is too big to cover everything in some hours; ideally we can plan it for whole day. Additional Battery operated vehicles are available with additional payment, which drives us through ought the park.

What is mean by being Independent?

15th August, Time around 8.00 PM., Place: Near Swargate.

There was a signal near Laxminarayan, and traffic got blocked for some minutes. The walking people are using the foot path, and suddenly a person with no patience moved his bike on foot path, to go ahead than others. He lost his control and hit a man around age 45. The man had injury on his right leg. Luckily the man had not hit much. The person with bike is not even having any sorry for the situation and shouted on the old man saying "साइड ला चालता येत नाही का? आता वय झालाय, संध्याकाळी घरी बसाव चुपचाप."..........

15th August, Time around 5.30 PM., Place: Parivartan Bus on Mumbai - Pune highway.

The bus was almost pack with very few sits vacant at different places. When CBD Belapur came 6-7 person are rushed for Bus and asking if the Seats are vacant. Conductor said, please come I will manage for all of you, just leave the number 3 & 4 sear as they are reserved from Panvel. The Conductor was a old man, seems reaching his 50. He slowly asked all those passengers about whether they are alone or in couple or group. and then requested different people who accommodated single seats. He adjusted almost everyone except a guy. Then he asked that guy if he wants to seat in cabin, else I will arrange your seat in other bus at Panvel station. But the guy agreed. I have never seen such responsible conductor in my life.

When I thought on both of these situations at night, my question is "What is mean by being independent?", Is that mean do whatever you think, do whatever you want, say whatever you likes? Or "Being responsible"?

Really its time for us to think on this............

Surprise

After lot effort he grabbed the PMT for Balewadi. This Bus is always packed and has as many people as a train compartment can accommodate.  He is having a sky blue jeans with a nice t-Shirt typed on front as "No Firewall". But as usual he seem to be aware of Swine flu and hence masked with handkerchief. His haircut is almost matching to a Hollywood actor. With all his extra tricks and skills he managed to get the ticket and a small place to stand. As the rush is increasing stop by stop, now the noise and jostle started. In all that jostle a elder man kept hand on his shoulder and asked which college he goes and lot of such enthusiastic questions. How he responded through his masked face and how the elder person heard those answer is question. Soon more rush is added to make life worst. With this situation, mistakenly he jostled a women. The women got angry and started to swear all "Male" kind. "All men’s always search for chance and purposefully jostles women. She even asked if he is not having any women’s at home so that he should have sense of manners and behavior. Now the situation become hot. Everybody in bus started to watch that poor boy. The women was not shown any sign of stopping the obscenity. And finally the boy lost his patience and removed the mask and cried loudly

                       "Hey stupid women, I am a girl not Boy"

And her sound made quiescent in bus.

Give me some sunshine.......

Our life is full of experiences of problems, tensions, tragedy, happiness and fun. In all stages of life we always look forward to move on as the further step always seems to have more power and privileges. Consider an example of a kid in 4th standard who always feel very partial of his elder brother as he has more luxury of roaming around and has mobile and bike. Whereas the same elder brother might feel that his father has all decision making power and everybody listens him. Even a school going student always thinks of going college as early as possible to enjoy the college life but when he joins college he thinks of getting good job and so on. The ultimate expectations and satisfactions will never be achieved, but still that makes us to move on in our life. While chasing all these goals and expectations, we really forget to enjoy our life. As time never stops nor gives us chance of going back (until you are watching Time Machine movie in dreams), we need to think more on our present than future.

Even in my case, I really forget to taste the life..enjoy it to fullest...and now I had spent almost 2/3 of my life in just chasing the goal and my desires. I am still far from my goals and my desires will never be accomplished...but what now I am loosing is my present.. .what I am going to miss is the all fun I can have if decided... what I am going to regret about is the sunshine in my cloudy life ..... But No....I should stop .... we have the life once.... I have to enjoy it and make it fun... I should not forget that I am born to Live....I  should not go the way life takes me...but I should take the life the way I go...being intelligent and smart we are not going to do this.. for this we must be in Idiot out of those 3 idiots... I am really starving for that sunshine..

बिन तेरे..........

काल पावसात भिजताना तुझी आठवण आली, आणि माझ्या वर्तमान काळाने भविष्यात जाणे नाकारले. प्रेम काय असते हे तूच मला शिकवले .. किंबहुना प्रेम हे तुझ्यापेक्षा काही वेगळे आहे हे मी विसरलोच होतो. शून्य झालो होतो तू मिळण्या आधी मी, पण मला पुर्नत्व दिले तू.  शुन्याला काहीच किंमत नसते जोपर्यन्त त्याच्या आधी काही आकडा नसतो ... माझ्यासाठी तो आकडा म्हणजे तू होतीस.  जीवनाची आशा आणि दिशा तूच होती माझ्यासाठी ... तू सोबत असतांना एवरेस्ट ही पदक्रांत करेन असा विश्वास होता.. आणि तू साथ दिली तर काहीही करून दाखवीन ही हमी दिली होती मी तुला.. तुही दाखवले अनेक स्वप्न मला.. तूच दिला होता आधार मला.. वाटल सर्व बदलेल .... सुखाचे दरवाजे उघडतील ... जे नाही झाले आतापर्यंत ते सर्व होईल... आनंद आपल्या पायाशी असेन.........
परंतु नियतीला हे मंजूर नव्हते.. मी तुला दगा दिला की तू मला की मग कोणीतरी आपल्याला दगा दिला हा प्रश्न आता गौन आहे.... दुख आणि फक्त दुख हेच जीवनात उरले आहे.. तू जिथेही असशील सुखी राहा हीच या तुटलेल्या हृदयाची इच्छा आहे .. प्रेम म्हणजे फक्त मिळवणे नाही तर प्रेम म्हणजे देणे हीच जीवनाची सत्यता आहे...
आज मी एकटा बसून जेव्हा भूतकालाकडे बघतो तेव्हा सोबतीला माझ्या फक्त अश्रू आहेत. विसरन तुला अशक्य म्हणून तुला न आठवायच आज मी ठरवल आहे... प्रेमा पोटी या मी माझेच सर्वस्व हरवले आहे..
कुणाला दोष देऊ मी माझया एकटेपणाचा हा विचार आज मी करत आहे आणि भुपिंदर ची गझल ऐकत आहे

Royal Pain

We cannot compare the pain of being alone with anything.. it’s the worst thing one need to face in lifetime. Sometimes you might have everything to you viz. money, luxury, freedom and piece .. I can say you are living a royal life but .. if you are alone, you are screwed up. The pain you face in this situation is a royal pain. I always had a overconfident that I don’t need anybody with me, I can survive alone, I don’t care about the damn world… but I am wrong. 2009 taught me all those lessons that my friends were trying to tell me from last couple of years. I do remember the situation, where I had everything to live a good life.. but I am crying that time and remembering my old days which are very painful but though they never lead me to cry. I remembered the song that time

दिल से तनहाई का दर्द जीता

क्या काहे हम पे क्या क्या न बीता

तुम न आये, मगर जो गये..

हाये हम क्या से क्या हो गये...

सारे सपने कही खो गये

The lesson I learnt from this is all we need to live a better life is “Relations”… that’s it

Beauty

Yesterday, I thought to visit Saras Baug, so I went there in evening. The atmosphere was cool as it is showery raining in Pune. This is really a nice place to visit not just because the beauty and architecture of Garden and temple, but so called “Puneri Patya” in and around there. When I entered there lot of rush was there as it was Sunday. People were enjoying there with their families and some friends group were wandering there. The temple was constructed in 1784 under direction of Sawai Madhavrao Peshwa with the idol of Lord Ganesha.

The bad part is the miss-management there which is disastrous for this beauty. The lake looks dying day by day and no measures are taken to keep it. People visiting the garden are also responsible for loss of this beauty.

After visiting the Garden I went to movie Lamha. In all 2 hour movie what I liked is “Kashmir” …. The beautiful place in the world… which is now converted to dangerous place on the earth.

When I compare these two places Saras Baug and Kashmir , “Here people are killing the Beauty and there Beauty is killing lot of innocent people”

क्षमा परमो धर्म

वात आज खूप आनंदात होती, कारणच असे होते; तिला तिचे नवीन घर मिळणार होते..जसे प्रत्येक मुलीचे स्वप्न तसेच तिचे होते. आणि शेवटी तिच्या आई ने तिला दिव्याच्या स्वाधीन केले. घर छोटे होते, त्यातच आजूबाजूला खूप सारे तेल. २ दिवसानंतर वात दिव्याला म्हटली मला घुसमटते  आहे इथे. तू तर शहाना तसाच राहशील मी तर इथे जळते आहे. एकीकडे आग आणि एकीकडे तेल किती रे त्रास होतो?. दिव्या ने खूप समजवले पण वातिने नाही ऐकले. तिने घर सोडण्याचाया विचार पक्का केला. तेला ने आणि अंधारा ने ही पुष्कळ समजवले पण वात रात्री पळाली. दिवा खूप रडला. वात पेटलेली होती, ती सैरवैरा उडाया लागली. आज ती स्वतन्त्र्य होती.. अरे हे काय ती जाळायला लागली तेला अभावी, चुकुन एका घराला आग लागली तिच्याकडून, तिला आपली चुक कळली ती परत घरी परतली. सर्व ठीक झाले. सर्वांना वाटले दिव्या ने माफ केले वातीला.

खूप दिवस झाले, दिव्याच्या मनातून सूड भावना जात नव्हती. त्याला वातीचा आनंद जणू नकोसा झला होता. त्याने मनात निश्चय केला की वातीला धडा शिकवायचा... वातीवर सूड उगवायचा. तेलाशी संगणमत करून त्याने स्वताला एक बारीक खडडा केला, आणि सारे तेल आनंदाने वाहून गेले. ... वात जाळायला लागली.. तेलाशिवाय ती कासावीस होऊ लागली ... तिचा श्वास जणू थांबला होता.. ती पुर्नच जळाली असती .. पण वारा मदतीला धावून आला.... त्याने लगेच तिला एका दुसर्‍या दिव्यात टाकले.... आणि वात वाचली. तेवढ्यात कुठून तरी आवाज आला "दिवा फुटलेला दिसतो.. आता काही कामाचा नाही तो, फेक त्याला" ... दिवा घाबरला परंतु आता खूप उशीर झला होता.. वातीला केले होते माफ त्याने परंतू त्याला माफी नव्हती आज. वातीला ही रडू फुटले आठवले तिला दिव्याची ती साथ ... परंतू आता तिला तिचे आयुष्य नव्याने सुरू करायचे होते एका नव्या दिव्यसोबत.... वार्‍या ने अके अस्रु गालला .. परंतु त्याला ही बरेच काम होते त्यामुळे ते दुख विसरून तो पुन्हा कामाला लागला. आणि शेवटी दिव्याला फेकण्यात आले अशा ठिकाणी जिथे फक्त अंधार होता...

तेल ही थोडे नाराज होते.. शेवटी दिव्याच्या नाशास तोही कारणीभूत होता. परंतू त्याला एक जीवनाचे सत्य समजले होते.. आणि त्याने ठरवले.. ते सत्य सार्‍या जगाला सांगायचे ....  "सूड जीवघेणा असतो दुसर्यांनाही आणि स्वतालाहि, मात्र क्षमा परमो धर्म!!!"

Perspective ....

Today morning a kid (around age 10) asked me, "How come your bag is too light?, with your age you should carry more than me". I have then seen his bag and found its fully loaded like a Military Man. Its more than the size he can take. I got confused what to answer and then being on safer side, I told him that "Hey with the addition in age and experience, the weight of books goes to Brain..that’s why I am carrying little". With my answer he smiled and said.."So the tensions and problems too...right?"

I have no words ... :(

Attitude – a mystery

Life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it!!!

What can I say about Attitude, the longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. It is more important than facts to me. What I do, How I react, whom I like, where I feel good is all about the decision of our Attitude. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It will make or break a heart... a company... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.

Attitudes consist of three basic components i.e. emotional, informational, and behavioral out of which only behavioral can be directly observed. What emotions somebody has regarding us is tough to find also we cannot think of the beliefs in one about others.

Here are some examples of Attitude that I found ... fearless, curiosity, innocence, freedom, optimism, joy & sorrow, trust, inspiration, pride, passion, Loyalty, Helpfulness, Friendly, Courteous, Kindness, Obedient, Cheerfulness, Thrift, Courage, Reverent, Dramatic, Pessimistic & Guilt.

So I know which my Attitudes are and I am an incharge of it... Let me make my life better

A Lesson in Life

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, if they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere.  If someone hurts you, betrays you , or breaks you heart, forgive them. For they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to who you open your heart to.
If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them.
Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.
Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you either.
You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it.

Teesri Kasam

Yesterday I was quit bored as came late from office. It was almost 8.00. As I was bit hungry so as a quick option just taken Methi paratha and fried them. While eating food, I put some old video songs, one of which was  'Duniya Banane wale..'. I was so delighted with song that planned to watch the movie 'Teesri Kasam'. I had seent this movie earlier but nver understood the meaning of 'Teesri Kasam' in movie, so watched it from by heart. The songs are pretty good and touchy. I liked the movie very much and the happiest part of this is I understood the 'Teesri Kasam'.  So the three oaths (Kasam) taken by Raj kapoor are : 1. He will never carry the robbed things in the cart. 2. He will never carry the Bamboos in his cart. and the third and important oath was:
